You don’t have to gamble on whether or not there’s still fall color left at Floyd Lamb Park near Las Vegas. Photographer Cindy van der Velde from outdoorfuninthesouthwest.com visited the park on November 14, 2024 to check on the autumn foliage.
She reports that some trees are in the middle of turning, while some are completely done already.
Cindy says, “I think there will be picture opportunities for at least 1 – 2 weeks.”
Of course, even after the fall color goes away for the year, Floyd Lamb Park has plenty of birds and wildlife to photograph, including the peacocks that strut around the park. And the lakes in the park make for a picturesque setting.
We recommend you visit Cindy’s outdoorfuninthesouthwest.com website. It has some great blogs and info on hikes, road trips, and events in the Southwest, as well as beautiful photos.
